Award winning artist, Linda Everett, earned a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in Graphic Design from Fort Hays State University. Linda’s love of ‘all things art’ began as a young child, and doesn’t remember a time in her life when art in some form wasn’t a strong influence. She discovered her love of watercolor painting when she took a class under the teaching of renowned artist, Louis Copt. Linda has continued, through the years, to study and pursue both watercolor and acrylic painting in the areas of portrait, landscape and still life art work. In recent years, commissioned watercolor pet portraits have become Linda’s specialty, which she paints from photographs. She enjoys capturing the essence of these sweet four-legged creatures in their expressive eyes and faces. She receives inspiration for all her artwork from God’s handiwork in His creation. Linda lives in the country with her husband, Mike; has two grown children and two grandchildren.
